A young woman has allegedly ended her own life after she encountered a side chick in the apartment of her boyfriend in Ghana.
The 25-year-old woman said to be a beautician from Effiakuma, paid an unscheduled visit to her boyfriend in his apartment inside Anaji Estate, Takoradi, Ghana.
A Facebook user, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, posted the incident on the platform. He said the encounter led to a heated argument.
The side chick reportedly later agreed to leave the apartment for the deceased and her boyfriend.
The boyfriend told the police that as soon as the other lady departed, he locked himself inside his room, while his girlfriend remained in the living room.
He further claimed that the next morning, he stepped out of his bedroom only to find his girlfriend’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling fan.
The police are now investigating the incident.
It would be recalled that in April of this year, a 100-level student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), reportedly killed himself after catching his girlfriend in bed with another man.
The deceased student reportedly took a casual walk from his GUSS Hall One residence to GUSS Hall 2, where his girlfriend resided.
He had not informed his girlfriend of his intention to visit, as he planned to surprise her. He was, however, shocked to find that his girlfriend had a male companion inside her room.
The student reportedly fainted upon the discovery and had to be revived by other students.
The student was taken back to his own room in the nearby male hostel.
His mates consoled him to forget the incident and move on with his life. They later left him in his room to recover.
Seizing the opportunity of being left alone, the heartbroken student, who is said to be from a wealthy background, got a belt and hanged himself in his room.
The video of the moment school authorities and security operatives evacuated the body trended widely online.
