The newly married wife of Pastor Chris Okafor has spoken publicly for the first time amid the controversy generated by allegations made against the cleric by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.

Pastor Okafor’s recent wedding has continued to attract widespread attention on social media after Ogala accused the cleric of betraying her following what she described as a long-term romantic relationship that began in 2017.

Ogala had alleged that Pastor Okafor promised to marry her, but later abandoned the relationship after news of his wedding emerged. She claimed the development left her emotionally shattered, particularly as it occurred while she was still mourning the death of her younger brother.

The actress also made more serious accusations, alleging that the cleric shared explicit videos of her without consent.

According to her, some of the footage was connected to a miscarriage she suffered during their relationship.

In addition, Ogala accused Pastor Okafor of financial exploitation, claiming she funded projects for him and some of his associates without receiving reimbursement.

Despite the allegations and online backlash, Pastor Okafor proceeded with his wedding, a decision that sparked mixed reactions across digital platforms.

While some social media users questioned the timing of the marriage, others urged the public to allow the matter to be resolved privately.

In a video from the couple’s pre-wedding shoot that later surfaced online, Pastor Okafor’s wife addressed the controversy indirectly by sharing her perspective on how their relationship began.

She described their union as divinely orchestrated, insisting that it was not the result of human planning but God’s intervention.

“We met by divine orchestration. It is something that wouldn’t have happened by human effort; God actually put us together,” she said.

The bride went further to speak fondly of her husband, using affectionate expressions that quickly became a subject of online discussion.

“He is very intentional. He is my sugar daddy, my boyfriend, my husband, my best friend and my daddy. He makes my life sweeter; he knows my secret button,” she stated.

Expressing enthusiasm about starting a family, she revealed her desire to have children with the cleric and raise a home centred on faith.

“I am looking forward to carrying his children — a little version of him. I want to watch them grow and watch my family bask in God’s glory,” she added.
