Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced plans to take legal action against popular cleric, Pastor Chris Okafor, following allegations that he reneged on a promise to marry her and instead married another woman.

The actress made the disclosure during a recent live conversation with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she spoke candidly about her past relationship with the pastor and the events that led to their fallout.

According to Ogala, the promise of marriage allegedly made by the clergyman formed the basis of her decision to consider legal redress.

During the discussion, Daddy Freeze questioned Ogala about her actions while she was still married to her former husband.

In response, the actress admitted that she engaged in phone-based intimacy with Pastor Okafor at the time, a decision she described as regrettable.

“Was I chatting on my husband through phone intimacy? Yes, I did,” Ogala said, while stressing that there was no physical relationship between her and the pastor during that period.

The actress further claimed that she possesses evidence to support her allegations, including chat conversations, screen recordings and a video which she said clearly displays dates and the recipient’s phone number.

Daddy Freeze, however, cautioned her against releasing such materials publicly, warning that doing so could expose her to legal risks bordering on privacy violations.

Despite the warning, Ogala maintained that she is prepared to pursue the matter legally. She disclosed that her lawyer has already been briefed and insisted that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman after allegedly making commitments to her amounts to grounds for legal action.

As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued any public statement in response to the allegations.
