Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has publicly criticised clergyman Pastor Chris Okafor following the emergence of a viral video showing him allegedly proposing to another woman.
The actor shared her reaction in an emotional Instagram video on Saturday, alleging that the pastor — founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry and often referred to as the Generational Prophet — had promised to marry her but had instead moved on to another relationship.
In her video, Ogala claimed she had been intimately involved with Okafor since 2017 and expressed distress over what she described as a betrayal after years of closeness.
She suggested that the pastor’s reported engagement was a shock considering his prior assurances.
The actress, visibly upset in the clip, questioned the pastor’s decision to pursue marriage with someone else after allegedly promising her a future together.
She also made broader allegations about how the relationship had affected her life, including claims of emotional strain and personal loss, which she said were linked to their past association.
Footage of Okafor’s engagement had circulated widely on social media before Ogala’s response, prompting widespread public discussion and divided opinions online.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor had not publicly addressed the accusations made by Ogala.
