Man evicted from his Abuja mansion after wife allegedly used his document to secure loan (Video)
A man has taken to social media to cry for help after court bailiffs and security personnel stormed his mansion at Sagwari Layout, a residential area located in Dutse, Bwari Area Council, Abuja, Nigeria, to evict him.
In a video that has now gone viral, the man said the officials from the Federal High Court showed him documents authorising his eviction from his house.
He, however, claimed the court never invited him to be part of the proceedings leading to his eviction from his own house.
The man also claimed to be unaware of the deal his wife entered into that culminated in his house being confiscated.
He said he would fight the injustice with his blood, and also vowed to make his wife pay for the suffering she was putting him through.
“I am live in my house, and they said my wife collected a loan from a property I don’t know anything about. And they sent people to come and eject me,” he said to the camera.
When one of the officials ejecting him tried to caution him, he fired back, “Oga, I will die! Forget about me” and continued with his filming.
He lamented that all his valuables had been put outside in the elements, adding that all his documents are upstairs.
“They are moving my bed and everything out. Yes, the whole world should see. This is the Federal High Court Enforcement Unit. I have not been consulted for anything. And I was not invited to come and defend myself”.
Of his wife, who allegedly caused the whole thing, the man said, “She started by gradually moving things from the house. You went and collected the facility without letting me know anything about it. The next thing she arranged people — because this is an arrangement. I am going to take this up to your office today. I am leaving here for your office. Since you want to destroy me, everybody will hear. I will go to your office. I will go to any length. I will call your family now.”
