Eight people have died in a road accident at the front of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education on the Oyo-Ogbomosho Expressway, Oyo State.
Four other people were rushed to the Oyo State General Hospital following the crash, which happened on Tuesday.
The state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mary Alo, disclosed this to The Punch today, Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Alo said a total of 19 people were involved in the road mishap.
“Eight people died while four people are receiving treatment at the state hospital in Oyo town” Alo disclosed.
She added that the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the morgue of the Oyo State General Hospital.
