Madam Olufunke Victoria Fayose, the mother of the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has cried out after her grandchildren allegedly threatened to evict her from her residence.

The younger brother of the politician, Isaac Fayose, had earlier alleged that Joju Fayose, the last-born of Ayo Fayose, called their mother, asking her to vacate the flat where she was living, or he would come and chase her out.

He allegedly also threatened to beat up the househelp and the gatekeeper if anyone stood in his way to evict the old woman.

Isaac made a post on Instagram, where he shared a screenshot of his message exchange with Joju regarding the issue.

He called the development “an abomination” and tagged an ex-aide of Ayo Fayose, Lere Olayinka, asking him if his children could do the same to his mother.

The sister, Bose, also made the same allegation in a live session, wherein she cursed Ayo Fayose and his wife for giving their mother a headache in her old age.

In a video that the mother released today, she confirmed that her grandchildren threatened to evict her.

She, however, said it was a storm and was not ordinary, because the children were not even born when they struggled to give the family a solid footing.

“All good-spirited Nigerians, help me intervene. All mothers, don’t just look on. All the servants of God, please, don’t just look on. Help me pray. I need your prayers at this time. This is a storm. If not a storm, how would grandchildren ask me to pack out my belongings? It is a storm. The children who were not even conceived when we started work.” Madam Fayose said.

She called on all Nigerians to support her with prayer so that the storm can blow over.
