Naval officer Lt. AM Yarima has continued to trend since his confrontation with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with some women now jokingly professing love for him.
It would be recalled that Wike’s attempt to enter a building site in Gaduwa District, Abuja, was resisted by the young officer, infuriating the minister.
Wike called the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and handed the phone over to Yerima, but the officer calmly explained to the CDS that he had been given an order to protect the site.
Eventually, Wike had to leave him alone, vowing to use his office to stop the ongoing construction.
Since then, netizens have been digging into the social media account of the young officer to know more about him.

The clip has been drawing many funny comments from ladies, with some jokingly claiming he is their husband.
Some have gone as far as faking photos that tend to show them standing beside the officer as romantic partners.
Lt Yerima is married and has a baby.
