“You married Regina as a minor”, Activist Sowore counters Ned Nwoko with ‘proof’

Activist, Omoyele Sowore, has produced a copy of actress Regina Daniels’ international passport to establish that politician Ned Nwoko married her as underage.
Writing on his Facebook page this morning, Sowore faulted Nwoko for producing a Voter’s card as evidence of his estranged wife’s age.
He said the politician should have produced the actress’ international passport, which he claimed was more credible because a birth certificate was required to issue one.
Sowore alleged that the process of obtaining a voter’s card was less rigorous than the process of obtaining an international passport.
He queried the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the discrepancy in the ages of the actress on the voter’s card and the international passport.
SOwore asked Nwoko to produce the birth certificate of his estranged wife to establish her true age.

He wrote:
“We have obtained a copy from Regina Daniels’s international passport, which was issued based on her birth certificate. She was underage at the time of her marriage to Chinedu @Senator Prince Ned Nwoko.
It’s crucial to question INEC Nigeria this discrepancy, as he is currently using an @INECNigeris voters card to assert her age. As he knows, the process for obtaining a voters card may not involve the rigorous scrutiny required for an international passport which is based on a birth certificate and other legitimate IDs. The crooked All Progressives Congress Senator knew what he was doing that’s reason he never traveled with @Regina Daniels to Europe or America.”
Reactions have trailed his post on Facebook, with some hailing him and others condemning him. Read some comments below.
Quoting Sowore’s post, Veteran journalist, Moji Danisa wrote on her Facebook wall:
“I would believe an international passport over a voter’s card anyway.
Plus, I expect a birth certificate to surface from the hospital where she was born, in Lagos.
Nedu is now like a drowning man clutching at straws.
Story has gone from allegations of DV, S€×tortion on one side, and dr√g abuse on the other side…to a senator now struggling with the proof of age of the girl he told us he married as a virgin.
What a ridiculous turn of events and quite shameful too! This child literally grew up in the eye of the public! Personally, I believe nobody knows the age of a person better than that person… anyway, there must be a certificate of birth somewhere. We are waiting.”

Instead of providing Regina birth certificate or international passport to prove her real age, he went on his wall to show us Regina’s INEC voter’s card which could have been manipulated to falsify her age. Prince Ned then went ahead to block people from commenting on the post. How is this acceptable norm given your profile as a senator?
It’s obvious Ned is hiding something. Regina was married off at 17 from the international passport posted here.
Oga Senator, you’ll explain tire, no evidence!”
Chamberlain Akujobi: “Regina herself gave her details to INEC. She is the one that should be held liable and should be charged.
Facebook family are leading this girl into the wrong direction.”
R Atanda Quadri: “I believe the court of law exists to thrash out this matter, or is social media where such matters are judged and decided?”
Ejefah’s Prince: “After granting interview on BBC that time, I want to ask, between you and her Mother, who do we believe?”
Edwin Emusuemu: “The voter’s card was obtained long before their wedding while the international passport was obtained long before (after) the wedding. So we will take the voter’s card as a more appropriate evidence.”
Michael Daffin: “Nothing sweet me like seeing Chinedu added to his name”
