Tell service chiefs to wipe out terrorists in three months or resign- Pastor Adeboye advises Tinubu

Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has advised President Bola Tinubu to give the service chiefs an ultimatum to wipe out terrorists in three months or tender their resignation letters.
The revered cleric said this while speaking with workers of the church during the November edition of the monthly Holy Ghost Service.
Pastor Adeboye said he was not qualified to speak on topical issues in Nigeria if the Christian Association of Nigeria had not spoken.
He said he was a man under authority and could not be seen making statements to the nation when the leadership of CAN had not authorised him to do so.
Pastor Adeboye, however, said he was qualified to speak to his children on any issue.
He therefore opened up the topical issue of the designation of Nigeria as a country of particular concern by the United States of America on account of alleged Christian genocide in the country.
The cleric said his opinion is that all souls are precious in the sight of God, whether they were Christians or not, stating that Nigeria had allowed the wasting of lives for far too long.
He recalled that when he obeyed CAN to protest the massive killings going on in Nigeria some years ago, the placard he carried had the inscription that all souls were precious to God.
He explained that that was what he believed then and still believes now, stressing that the wanton killing of people should stop immediately.
He called for the elimination of the bandits and terrorists wasting people’s lives and their sponsors.
Pastor Adeboye conceded that the problems were inherited by President Bola Tinubu, but added that as a teacher of Applied Mathematics, he believed all problems are meant to be solved.
He said if he were to advise Tinubu, he would tell him to take America’s advice seriously.
The cleric advised Tinubu to ask for 100 days to tackle the crisis and thereafter give the military chiefs a three-month ultimatum to deal with the problem or resign.
He said he gave similar advice to a president who is now late, and he took the advice and issued the ultimatum to the then service chiefs, but failed to follow through when they failed to get the job done within the stipulated time.
The cleric said this time, the government must follow through, and they must not only eliminate the terrorists, but also their sponsors.
