Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has opted for the path of peace with her younger colleague, Regina Daniels, who is currently locked in a battle with her estranged husband.
Okorie denounces the use of power and influence to oppress others, saying that power should be used instead to uplift others.
The actress also directly referred to her disagreement with Regina, saying that she had forgiven the younger actress and moved on.
She philosophised that GOD’s power towers over all other powers or authorities. Okorie stated that when God elevates someone to a place of influence, it is not for control or oppression, but to make a lasting positive impact on others.
The Nollywood actress addressed herself directly to Regina, telling her that she had moved beyond their past misunderstandings.
“I have chosen peace. It breaks my heart to see you go through difficult times, but my love for you remains steadfast,” she wrote.
Okorie said she harbours no bitterness towards Regina and she would continue to pray for her safety, happiness, and peace of mind.
She called Regina her daughter and said that whatever happens, her love for the younger actress would never change.
Okorie said she had watched Regina grow and blossom in the industry and had always prayed for her.
The actress said life teaches people lessons through both joy and hardship, with some of the lessons coming through pain.
“But they also bring wisdom and strength. Through everything, I have chosen love over bitterness, forgiveness over anger. and peace over pride,” she wrote.
To her fans, she said she had let go of everything and left God to judge.
It would be recalled that some months ago, Angela Okorie called out Mercy Johnson, as a result of which Regina Daniels openly insulted her (Angela).
It degenerated into an online fight between Angela and Regina.
