Popular actress, Regina Daniel, has opened up on the crisis rocking her family, pleading for people to stop abusing her mother, as she was not the reason she married politician Ned Nwoko.
In a video she posted today, Regina said she had not slept till 5 am because she had been worried about her family.
Recall that her brother and sister were arrested by the police, allegedly at the instigation of her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
Regina lamented that many people keep abusing her mother on social media, blaming her for the crisis rocking the family.
She asserted that her mother was not to blame for the situation she found herself in.
Regina claimed that she was the one who fell in love with Nwoko and insisted on marrying him.
She claimed that all her family members opposed the union, but she insisted on having her way until they all agreed.
“Stop insulting my mum, biko. Stop it. Ehii! Please, biko. She’s everything to me. She’s my God on earth. Walahi, she’s strong. For seven years, my mum held it down. She tried”, Regina said in the video.
She said the problem was her, who was stubborn.
“The problem is me with the coconut head. I’m so ashamed to say I fell in love. But I actually really did, nd it’s crazy. I fell in love, and everyone said no, my mum. And please, stop saying she got married out of greed. Excuse me, no! We were not broke. Does that make sense?” she said.
