
Senator Ted Cruz of the United States of America has vowed to name the Nigerian officials sponsoring the killers of Christians in the country.
He made the promise in a video he released on his social media accounts on the lingering issue of insecurity in Nigeria.
Cruz, US President Donald Trump, for designating Nigeria a “country of particular concern” over Christian Genocide by armed bandits, including Boko Haram.
The senator said there was no country on earth where Christians are more persecuted than in Nigeria.
The senator said over 50,000 Christians have been killed by Muslim fundamentalists without any serious retribution for the perpetrators.
He added that over 20,000 churches and schools have been razed to the ground by the armed bandits.
Cruz said in the caption that he had been pushing legislation to designate Nigeria a CPC and to impose sanctions on the Nigerian officials responsible.
Cruz expressed gratitude to President Trump for his leadership in fighting to stop the murder of Christians in Nigeria.
