A Brazilian woman, Barbara Jankavski, who has spent a fortune on 27 operations to look like a Barbie doll has passed away at the age of 31.
Jankavski’s lifeless body was discovered at a townhouse in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Her death has been ruled suspicious and now being investigated.
A request for an autopsy has been filed to assist with the investigation.
The circumstances of the death are not known, but reports indicated that emergency services were summoned to the property over the weekend.
When the paramedics arrived, they found Jankavski without a pulse and tried fruitlessly to revive her.
A friend of the influencer had been at the house that same day and left before she died. The friend told the police that Jankavski had injured her eye earlier that day.
The influencer shocked her fans a couple of weeks ago when she posted a selfie that showed she had black eyes.
She had explained that the injuries were part of the healing process for a facelift she had.
She captioned the picture with “Day 3 of the facelift” and tagged those responsible for the operation, namely @dr.aurilioluis and @asanasal_dedivas.
Jankavski commented tht she ws improving way too fast with almost no scar.
The controversial influencer spent bout £42k (bout N78m) to look more like a real-life Barbie.
She became populr on social media as a result of her posts on her unending surgical opertions.
The influencer had over 55k followers on Instagram, while she boasts over 344k followers on TikTok.
She is known as Boneca Desumana on TikTok. It is the Brazilian Portuguese for human Barbie.
She also appeared in multiple TV shows and ad campaigns in Brazil.
Her lst post on Instagram’s main grid ws on 1 October,2025. She hd posted a video of her meeting with another Brazilian influencer, Avos Da Razao.
Desumana’s last post on TikTok was on 7 September. She hd posted a video about spending money.
Fans have continued to pay her tribute on social media.
