A 20-year-old man, Alfred Habila, from Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, has killed himself by hanging in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, reported that Habila, a labourer, was found hanging in an uncompleted building behind River Park Estate, Lugbe, on November 2, 2025.
The circumstances leading to the action are not known. A resident, Joshua, first saw the deceased and then called another resident, Engr. Jatto Abdulkareem, who called the police.
Joshua reportedly made the tragic discovery about 8 o’clock in the morning on Sunday..
The police team that visited the scene took photographs and then took the victim to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, where doctors confirmed Habila was brought in dead.
The lifeless body of the victim was then taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The police are investigating the case.
