Lady accuses hubby of beating her, pulling out her braids because she wanted to go to church without sweeping the compound (Video)
A woman named Chidinma Happiness has taken to Facebook to accuse her husband of domestic violence after she refused to sweep the compound before attempting to go to church.
Happiness recounted that she did house chores in the morning, warmed the food her husband would eat and prepared her kids for church on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025.
She, however, encountered opposition from her husband at the point of exiting the house.
Happiness said her husband told her she could not go anywhere if she did not sweep the house and the entire compound.
She said she told her husband that she would do it when she returned, but he refused.
Happiness said she thought it was a joke and attempted to exit in defiance of her husband. That was when he allegedly attacked her and inflicted injuries on her.
She lamented that her husband did not help her with house chores and that it took a lot of time to complete the tasks, including getting the kids ready for church.
The embittered wife said she was tired of her marriage and wanted to opt out.
She complained that her husband did not allow her to take her belongings out of her room.
Happiness also alleged that the man smashed the LED lights that her brother gave her money to buy.
She said she managed to take her first son and daughter out of the house, but could not take the last one before escaping.
In a follow-up video, she showed that she has relocated to her parents’ house for now.
