The controversial Ghanaian prophet Ebo Noah, who claimed the world would be swept away by a flood in December 2025, has narrowly escaped drowning at the beach.
Prophet Noah, according to eye-witnesses, was praying on a rock at the beach where he is building his ark when powerful waves knocked him into the water.
Local divers, residents and his associates reportedly rushed into the water to rescue the prophet.
In the process, the prophet reportedly sustained a sprained arm.
His associates claimed he did not sustain any serious injury as they shared a video of him working on his ark at the beach the following day.
Ebo Noah gained national recognition in Ghana when he made the claim that God told him He would destroy the world in December this year.
He further claimed that God instructed him to build an ark, like the one Biblical Noah, to save anyone who obeyed him.
The controversial cleric said there will be a massive rain that will last for three years, and the ensuing flood will wash away humanity.
Those who will escape, according to him, are the people who enter his ark and two of every animal species he takes into his ark before the catastrophe strikes.
As incredulous as it sounds, Noah seems to have some followers who believe his prophecy, but the overwhelming majority of Ghanaians ridicule his claims.
Many typically refer to Genesis 9:11, where God expressly stated that, “Neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth”.
Prophet Noah’s issue is often used as comic relief in Ghana.
