Coca-Cola Nigeria has officially brought back its iconic “Share A Coke” campaign with a grand relaunch event in Lagos, drawing over 1,500 influencers, entertainers, media professionals, and fans.
The event, held on October 23, celebrated the return of one of Coca-Cola’s most popular global campaigns with music, fashion, and digital experiences.
Top Nigerian artistes, including Wande Coal, Odumodu Blvck, Falz, Shoday, FOLA, Ayo Maff, Aniko, DJ Shawn, Maze x Mxtreme, and Rybeena, thrilled guests with energetic performances that embodied the spirit of Nigerian youth culture.
Attendees enjoyed a fully immersive brand experience with customisation zones where they could print their names on Coke cans and bottles, plus creative photo booths that quickly lit up social media under the hashtag #ShareACokeNG.
The company also unveiled an exclusive Coca-Cola x West African Fashion (WAF) merchandise line, celebrating the fusion of global brand heritage and Nigerian Gen Z creativity.
Speaking at the event, Mariam Khan, General Manager of the company, described Share A Coke as more than a marketing campaign.
“It’s about creating real connections. When you hand someone a Coke with their name on it, you’re sharing joy, identity, and belonging,” she said.
Yusuf Murtala, Head of Marketing, noted that the campaign combines personalisation, technology, and storytelling to reconnect with younger consumers. Valerie Odubogun, Director of Frontline Marketing, added that the goal is to make the experience “authentic, joyful, and shareable.”
To extend the excitement, the brand announced a nationwide consumer promo from October 31 to December 31, 2025, giving Nigerians the chance to win millions of naira in cash prizes, airtime, and other rewards. Participants can enter by purchasing personalised 50cl Coke bottles with Nigerian names, checking under the crown for a unique code, and redeeming it online.
Originally launched globally over a decade ago, Share A Coke became a cultural phenomenon by replacing the Coca-Cola logo with people’s names.
Its 2025 comeback in Nigeria celebrates individuality, connection, and the simple joy of sharing a Coke.
