American lady reunites with father deported to Africa 27 years ago by her spiteful mother (Video)
'One day my daughter will find me!'

An American lady, Kadija Tall, has found her father, who was deported back to Africa by her mother out of spite 27 years ago.
Kadija, from Nashua, New Hampshire, United States of America, began a massive online campaign to find her Guinean father, Mr Tall, around July of this year.
According to her, she had nothing else to go on apart from a lone picture of her father carrying her in his arms when she was an infant.
Her mother deliberately avoided the topic and gave her nothing to link her back to her father.
She narrated that her father and mother fell out, and her father fought for her custody and won in court.
Embittered by this development, the mother instigated the deportation of her estranged husband to undo the victory won at court.
She succeeded, and the man was sent back to Guinea, leaving behind his beloved daughter, who was born an American.
According to the young American, her mother called her father in Guinea to ensure he was there and then changed her (Kadija’s) name to Queen.
The embittered woman also changed her phone number and address to make it difficult for her estranged husband to reconnect with her or his daughter.
“My dad’s last words to my mother were, ‘One day my daughter will find me.’ He was right. He prayed, and I prayed. I didn’t know what I was looking for, but whatever I was looking for, I was determined to find it…” said Kadija.
Kadija Tall begins quest to find her father
She believed in the power of social media to help her find and reconnect with her father wherever he might be.
So, around July this year, using her TikTok page, where she is known as @badbeautyqueen, Facebook and GoFundMe, she began an active campaign to locate her father.
She also employed the assistance of an ancestry DNA kit to trace her family.
It was her post on Facebook that provided her first and only useful lead. According to her, the post went viral, spreading widely in Guinea. There were over 400 shares and over 300 comments on her original post on Facebook.
Interestingly, in 2020, Mr Tall changed his display picture to a photo of him holding Kadija as an infant decades ago.
When Kadija Tall posted the same picture in her campaign, someone remembered having seen something like that and tagged someone he knew as a relation of Mr Tall.
It turned out to be a cousin of Kadija, named Amadou Tall. He took a look at the picture and knew exactly what it was all about.
Amadou Tall messaged Kadija, identifying himself and telling him that the person she was looking for is his uncle.
Kahdijah contacted him right away, even though she was sceptical. She collected her father’s phone number from him, and she called him.
The young woman said that when she heard the voice, his memories of him flooded her brain, and she could literally hear his voice decades ago.
She said that the call was too emotional as she was crying and her friend, who was with her, was also crying.
She has since had many video calls with her father, her new mum, as her father moved on with another woman back in Guinea.
Kadija Tall has also met her younger brothers online.
They are now planning for her to visit Guinea, where she can see her father again after 27 years of no contact.
Her GoFundMe account is also garnering momentum, especially now that she has found her father.
At the last check, she has realised over 700 dollars.
