Two United Airlines planes collide on tarmac in America

Two United Airlines planes brushed each other while was taxiing at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, United States of America.

The wing of one aircraft clipped the tail of another in the incident, but no injury was recorded.

United Airlines Flight 2652 arriving from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, was moving in the direction of its gate when its right wing hit the horizontal stabilizer of a parked United plane.

Most passengers did not pay any attention to a shudder of the plane while taxiing. They only knew there was an incident much later

A United spokesperson said passengers disembarked normally and no injuries were reported.

There were 113 passengers and five crew members aboard Flight 2652 at the time of the incident. The second aircraft had no one inside it.

A passenger on Flight 2652, Bill Marcus, there was some shuddering when the planes were separated but it was not serious enough for anyone to pay attention or be alarmed.

Marcus who was returning from Wyoming recalled that the pilot had announced a brief delay “to document something”.

He said passengers only noticed people gathering around the plane later.

Marcus lauded the crew for calmly handling the situation.

According to him, passengers were delayed for roughly 40 minutes before the plane reached its gate and everyone was allowed to disembark.
