“He was an only child,” father wails after police bullet hit his son in Kenya

A depressing video has shown the moment a distraught father, Meshack Okode, mourned his only child after he was shot dead by the police in Kenya.
The video captured the moment the man knelt beside his late son, Vincent Otieno Ogutu, 40, put in the back of a truck at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi, Kenya.
He wailed in his local dialect, “He was an only child!” as sympathisers crowded around him.
Ogutu was at the Kasarani Stadium to view the body of the late Kenyan opposition leader, Raila Odinga, but met with untimely death.
He was among the three people hit when the police shot into the midst of mourners who turned up at the stadium to see the body of Odinga.
Odinga, a former Prime Minister of Kenya, died on Wednesday, Oct. 15, during a morning walk in southern India.
He had been flown to India for medical treatment following an undisclosed ailment. The politician was believed to be recovering at the time of his sudden demise.
He was taking a walk when he collapsed after suffering a heart attack. The opposition leader was quickly examined and pronounced de@d.
After his body was returned to Kenya, it was taken to the stadium for citizens to view and pay their last respects.
However, the crowd got boisterous and rowdy at a point, leading to the police releasing teargas.
They later followed up with real gunshots, aimed at the crowd. Three people, including Ogutu, were instantly killed.
Ogutu is survived by a wife and 3 daughters.
