An old tweet warning influencer, Ola of Lagos, of the risks he ran building his showroom under a high-tension powerline has surfaced after the property was demolished by the Lagos government.

Ola’s beautiful showroom was reduced to rubble by tractors for failing to failing to meet planning requirements.

Nigerians have now dug out an old tweet of a man identified as Lawyer Agboola, warning the influencer about the dangers of building his car showroom under a high-tension power line.

The property had been fully built and launched at the time the tweet came out. Lawyer Agboola congratulated Ola on the completion of the property.

He, however, cautioned him against the risk of setting up his car business directly under a 132kV/330kV power line, explaining that it was a serious safety and legal violation.

The lawyer told the influencer that the Nigerian law prohibited construction within 30 to 50 metres of high-tension lines due to the risks of fire, electrocution, and similar accidents.

Agboola reminded the influencer that if any mishap occurred, the electricity company would not be held responsible because his property violated public safety laws.

Ola has since responded to the demolition of his OOL Autos. He assured fans via Instagram that “all is well”, promising that he would bounce back “bigger and better.”7
