Canada-based gospel singer, Minister Esther Ojooba, is set to mark 25 years of impactful service in gospel music with a special edition of her annual Gospel Explosion Concert, themed “Unscripted Testimony.”

The event, which celebrates her remarkable journey of faith, music, and philanthropy, will also feature the official launch and dedication of her non-governmental organisation (NGO), aimed at supporting the less privileged in society.

Speaking about her 25-year journey, Minister Ojooba described it as a story of God’s faithfulness, grace, and guidance through life’s highs and lows.

“As I reflect on my 25 years in music, I am filled with gratitude to God for His unwavering love and direction. The journey hasn’t always been smooth; there were moments of uncertainty and pain. But through it all, God was writing His story of redemption and hope in my life,” she said.

According to her, the inspiration behind the “Unscripted Testimony” concert comes from the many experiences that have shaped her faith and music over the years. She noted that gospel music, to her, goes beyond melody—it is a ministry that touches hearts and brings healing and hope to people.

“For me, gospel music is not just about the stage or the lights. It’s about seeing lives transformed through songs inspired by the Holy Spirit. When someone tells me that my music brought them peace or hope, that’s the real reward,” she added.

Esther Ojooba, who has consistently used her music as a platform for spreading the gospel and giving back to society, said the upcoming concert will be both a celebration and a moment of reflection on God’s goodness over the years.

She reaffirmed her commitment to using her music and humanitarian efforts to make a lasting impact, stressing that every phase of her journey has been part of God’s divine plan.

“Every chapter of my story, even the painful ones, has led to God’s glory. This concert is a testimony of His faithfulness,” she said.
