A viral video has shown the moment an elderly woman travelling to London, United Kingdom, went around passengers begging them to assist her in carrying her load.
The incident was reportedly filmed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The woman can be seen approaching a male passenger to ask for his assistance to help her carry her hand luggage.
The man asked her why she could not carry it by herself, to which she explained that the arline officials had already collected her hand luggage.
Apparently, they did not allow her to carry the huge polythene bag as a second hand luggage.
The man then said he already had a hand luggage and would not be allowed to take a second hand luggage onto the plane.
The woman then responded that he could simply take part of her load and add it to his luggage.
“No, Madam. I will never,” the man flatly told her.
The elderly woman then approached a fellow woman to make the same request. The fellow passenger also turned down the request.
The video has generated massive reactions with many people wondering how the elderly woman could think that anyone would accept to carry her luggage with the constant reminder by airlines and airport officials to never assist anyone to carry a luggage.
