A popular X influencer, Pelumi, known as Big Lummy on the platform, is currently trending after a lady openly accused him of sexually molesting her in his apartment.
The lady, identified as Divine on X, claimed she slept over in Pelumi’s house, and he attempted to rape her.
Divine claimed she was already in bed sleeping when she felt Pelumi sucking her bre*st.
She claimed that Big Lummy managed to remove her gown while she slept, exposed her and was almost on top of her before she stopped him.
Divine made the allegations after another lady accused Pelumi of being a sex pervert, who sent his nudes to ladies online.
The X user, @Taye_d_vibee, wrote: “This weird boy calls different girls and starting moaning on calls unprovoked even go as far as sending his sex tapes & d*ck to girls..he’s a PERVERT.’.
Divine responded to the tweet with her experience. She wrote: “Lummy touched me in my sleep. took my gown off and i woke up to his mouth on my bre*st. I got pissed and got off the bed and this stupid boy begged that he’ll leave the bed and let me sleep. Only for me to wake up to him whispering in my ears and using my hand to jerk himself”’.
Pelumi saw Divine’s post and denied the allegations, claiming that Divine was on her period when she visited him.
He also claimed Divine told him she was sent by feminists to destroy him because he had been vocal against them.
“Broo this babe we went on a date for the first time man since January 22 fgs , she dey tell me face to face say na feminist Gc sent her come because I dey tackle them online cause this particular babe that night held knife on my life she say she wan kill me 😂”
Some netizens believed him and questioned the veracity of Divine’s claims. They wonder how a man could remove her gown while she slept, and she did not wake up.
One of those who did not believe the story, @kushgramm, tagged Divine and wrote, “It’s a lie”.
This was followed by a barrage of other tweets attacking Divine for trying to frame up an innocent man.
Divine shares receipts of accusation against Lummy
Divine responded with receipts. She posted three clips, which purportedly showed parts of the encounter she complained about.
In one of the clips, Pelumi was seen trying to stop Divine from recording him, while appearing to beg her.
In another, Divine is heard complaining that he was touching her against her will, and Pelumi does not counter this allegation.
Instead, he appears to be appealing to her, but his words are not decipherable.
Many of the netizens switched their allegiance back to Divine and began to trend the hashtag, “No means no”.
Pelumi refused to back down. He insisted that the lady was sent to destroy him. The accused man also insinuated that Divine slept in his bed with her bosom uncovered.
He wrote: “Broo I’ve been told by a sly in their (feminists’) Gc since last month. So I no dey shock. Na una dey glaze story cause how a grown woman go leave her boobs wide awoke sleep over for that matter.
She’s so broke I had to pay for her Uber home that morning my neighbors just dey laugh 😂😂”
He also posted a video of Divine and two knives on a table. He wrote that he woke up at 2 am to find the lady with two knives, claiming that she planned to kill him in his sleep.
Divine fired back that it was a lie and that the knives were in his apartment and did not belong to her.
“You’re a ficking liar, tf!!! i’ve never been on any feminist gc! and those knives were in your apartment!!!!’
Many netizens are asking Pelumi to come up with stronger evidence because the receipts he had produced since the scandal broke out did not match up in strength with the one Divine provided.
The back and forth is still ongoing online, with the hashtags “No is No” and “Lummy” featuring on the trends table.
