A man’s attempt to sneak out of a hotel in the South-South after lodging two ladies and running up a bill of N100,000 has failed woefully.
The man, whose name was not mentioned, was allegedly caught at 3 am trying to sneak out without being noticed by the receptionist.
Unfortunately, he was seen and apprehended. He was then stripped to his underwear and made to sit on the floor.
A video of the incident has gone viral. The video shows the man begging the hotel staff who caught him.
The voices of the hotel workers can be heard in the background, questioning him why he did what he did.
“He lodged two rooms for girls. He nor gree pay for this hotel. One naira nor dey him hand. He come here come lodge, carry two girls, dey order, dey order everywhere. He wan come run for midnight. Na Ijaw boy.
You see am. Na criminal. Fine girls naim he carry come lodge for this hotel. One naira nor dey him hand. Make he pay money now, he nor get,” the voice in the background said.
Someone else can be heard suggesting that the suspect should call his relatives to pay for him.
The location of the hotel was not stated, but from the conversations in the video, it appears the incident happened somewhere in the south-south.
