The President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, has ordered the immediate arrest of a popular radio host, Penny Ntuli, for shaking her backside at oncoming vehicles on a busy highway.
The president, in a video that has now gone viral, described the action as dangerous as it was capable of causing distraction and accidents.
It would be recalled that Ntuli, earlier this month, posted a video of herself and her friend having fun by the side of a busy highway.
They turned their back to oncoming traffic and vigorously shook their derrieres. At some point, Ntuli got dangerously close to the thoroughfare while twerking.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) reacted to the video, condemning the action as reckless, dangerous, and illegal.

The corporation said content creators should not risk their lives for social media engagement.
Many members of the public also tongue-lashed the media personality for not setting a good example to her followers.
Reacting to the backlash, Ntuli said she acknowledged that what she did was wrong. She, however, pointed out that people were criticising her because she was a public figure.
Penny explained that she had driven for a long distance and decided to park on the side of the road to stretch her legs and take in the scenery.
Penny Ntuli declined to apologise
She tagged the explanatory video, “Please note this is not an apology video, just addressing a few things.”
Ntuli said she did not do the video to apologise, but to talk because people were making the event seem like something it was not.”
She said what she did was not meant to hurt anyone.
“Some things happen because I’m Penny Ntuli. If I were someone else, no one would have been talking about it,” the media girl said.
Penny said she would not agree to be put on a pedestal simply because she was a public figure.
She also denied being under the influence of alcohol, saying that she does not drink alcohol.
The media personality said she heard about accidents on the N3, and she understood why “my elders speak about that out of concern.”
She admitted that there could have been an accident.
“The truck drivers could have easily lost concentration and swerved out of their lane”, Ntuli said.
The radio personality said that when she reviewed the video, she realised she put her life in danger. She, however, stopped short of apologising.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) are expected to pick Ntuli and her friends up for the infamous stunt any moment from now.
