Officials of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have apprehended another Nigerian named, Chinomso Uma Ochie, for deportation.
According to a statement released by ICE, Ochie was targeted because he has a criminal record. He was accused of sexual crime violations.
ICE said Ochie was arrested in San Antonio, Texas on September 15, 2025.
The statement explained that that anyone who commits crimes against children can lose their immigration privileges.
ICE wrote in the statement that it is a privilege to be allowed to remain in the U.S. It added that anyone who violates the conditions of their admission by committing crimes against children can be arrested and lose their benefits.
The organisation said this was the case with s3x offender Chinomso Uma Ochie.
Ochie remain in ICE custody. It was not stated when he will be deported back to Nigeria.
