Loveth Orva, the lady involved in the viral infidelity case that allegedly cost a woman her life in Makurdi, Benue State, is a praise and worship leader in church.

Recall that Loveth went viral on social media after she was named as the side chick of Sefa Awen, a man who allegedly bullied his wife, Doosuur Awen, to death.

Doosuur died from high blood pressure complications last month and was buried immediately.

However, a social media storm broke out a few days ago after employees and staff of the late Doosuur stepped out to shed light on the circumstances that led to the death of their friend.

The friends said they had no intention of coming out with the revelations until they realised that Sefa and his family were trying to play on the intelligence of the public.

They alleged that Sefa was remotely responsible for the death of Doosuur because he broke her heart by having an affair with Loveth Orva.

They claimed Sefa did not stop there, but continued to bully his wife, rather than apologise when she found out about his infidelity.

Loveth Orva exposed

The friends of the late Doosuur unveiled purported chats between Sefa and Loveth. They also published entries from a diary kept by the late Doosuur.

In one of the chats, Sefa told Loveth he enjoyed licking her ‘ny*nsh’ (anus). See the text here.

In the diary entries, it became apparent that Doosuur was aware of Loveth and lived a life of sorrow and depression.

More information has now emerged about Loveth, the alleged side chick who allegedly stole Sefa’s heart.

Her husband, Mr Orva, in a public post he addressed to one of Doosuur’s friends, Shamimi Anase, expressed shock and regret at the revelation of his wife as Sefa’s side chick.

He described his wife as a prayer warrior and a worship leader in church, saying there was no way he could have expected her to be linked to such a nasty behaviour.

Orva, who is based outside Nigeria, admitted seeing his wife with Sefa many times, but said he thought it was a professional relationship.

According to Orva, he first met Sefa when his wife contracted him to serve as a judge and facilitator for his (Orva’s) programme, the ‘Benue Speaking Contest’.

“My interactions with him were strictly work-related and professional, so I cannot comment on his character outside those limited encounters. Since my wife coordinated the program, she naturally interfaced with him more often than I was aware of. I just discovered their complicated relationship had trapped them in their respective marriages, and that an honest conversation would have averted tragedy. This is very unbecoming of the woman I married, who claimed to be an esteemed educator, mother, God fearing, and praying wife who led praise in churches,” he wrote.

Orva said, although he was deeply hurt by the infidelity, he had extended “grace” and compassion to her to allow for forgiveness, healing and restitution as the mother of his children.

He explained that whenever he visited Nigeria and saw Sefa with his wife, he assumed they maintained a professional relationship and everything appeared normal.

Orva commiserated with Doosuur’s friend, adding that it was a loss that could have been avoided.

Also, netizens who knew Loveth shed more light on her background. A Facebook user, Kwase Utongo Aondoakaa Pauline, confirmed that Loveth Orva was a praise leader in church.

”This woman led praise and worship last Sunday, my dear” she responded to a commenter who said she heard that Loveth was a member of the choir.

Chimere Enyinnaya Ugochukwu claimed Loveth was her classmate at Federal Government College, Vandeikya, Set of 2006.”

She also added that Loveth is blessed with two boys.
