‘Mum invited me today, I refused to say anything’ says diary of lady allegedly bullied to death by employee she married

A diary entry has revealed that the parents of Henrietta Doosuur Awen smelt a rat and tried to find out what was happening in her marriage, but she refused to open up.
It would be recalled that Doosuur died recently from high Blood Pressure complications following the discovery that her husband was having an affair with a married woman known to her.
Employees of the late Doosuur have filled social media with accusations against her husband, Sefa Awen.
Many accused him of being responsible for the demise of the lady who was from a rich background and his boss before they became lovers.
The revelations coming out are shocking to those who know the couple and saw their display of affections on social media.
Sefa reportedly posted lovey-dovey pictures of himself and his wife on his Facebook page, which he has now deactivated following attacks from friends of his late wife.
Diary of secrets
The late Doosuur kept a big diary where she recorded her feelings and day-to-day activities.
The diary has now revealed that she deliberately refrained from telling her mother about the ordeal she was passing through in the hands of her husband.
Instead of complaining about the maltreatment she was receiving from her husband, she poured out her soul into the diary.
Most of her writings referenced the mistress of her husband called Anshawa, who later turned out to be Loveth Orva, a married woman.
Doosuur lied to mama
In an entry on March 13, 2025, the late Doosuur wrote: “Was supposed to see Dr Labe, (today) but had a meeting with Mama at the same time.
She wanted to know if anything was wrong. But I had nothing to say.
We are good now. I intend to keep it that way. No more questioning. Whatever, I will keep quiet. It should be about building myself now”.
She had earlier complained in other entries that her husband was always hostile to her because he accused her of questioning him and monitoring his movement.
The late Doorsuur said she had resolved to stop questioning his him or asking about his movement if that would give her peace in her home.
Why did Sefa marry me?
In another entry, she asked her diary, “Why exactly did this guy marry me? With the way he feels about me, why on earth did he marry me?
“It’s how he thinks I have been pretending to be ill for me.
How does one pretend to be ill? Oh God! Just how?
All the same, I can never be good enough for him as long as Iam not who he actually loves or wanted to marry. I have come to peace with that.”
Doorsuur’s friends believe Sefa did not take his wife to the hospital when she fell ill in the office for this reason. The late Doorsuu had called her husband when she was feeling chest pain and weak.
However, Sefa did not take his wife to the hospital. He reportedly scolded her all the way home, complaining that she was pretending to be ill for his attention.
In another entry, she narrated how her husband scolded her all day for simply asking him to lend her his car.
Sefa purchased the car after he allegedly sold off a Toyota Highlander Doosuur’s mother gave to her.
Sefa reportedly sold off the car promising to replace it, but used the funds to purchase a Toyota Camry in his own name.
Absence of love
Doorsuur put in another depressing entry where she thanked God that Sefa gave her N30,000 to add to the N20,000 he had earlier given her for food. The way she wrote about it gave the impression she was starved of such gestures of love from her husband before then.
The late Doosuur prayed to God to allow that to happen more. But, from the next entry in her diary, hostilities resumed instead of love.
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, she had this to say: “ Dear Diary, I know Anshawa’s husband/man never loved me but I guess I turned a blind eye to it all this time and just figured he will love me soon, but obviously, all of him is for her.
Just like he told her that he prays to God everyday to teach him how to love her.”
