Billionaire Femi Otedola’s advice to his newly married daughter is trending across social media for its candidness.

The businessman frankly told his daughter that she should switch her allegiance to her husband because he is now her boss.

Recall that Temiloluwa Otedola formally married singer Tosin Ajibade, better known as Mr. Eazi, in a three-country wedding.

Giving the father-of-the-bride advice to the couple at the Dubai part of the ceremony, Femi Otedola told Temi, ‘There’s no more Daddy. Don’t call me o!’, as the audience laughed.

He advised his daughter to succumb to the whims and caprices of her husband.

The businessman, known for shooting straight, told his daughter she was not free to run back home.

He praised the love he observed between his daughter and Mr Eazi. The businessman remarked that his daughter is an entrepreneur, while her husband is also an entrepreneur.

The billionaire stated that the two were a perfect match for each other.

Addressing Tosin, he told him he would go places.

“I have seen the entrepreneurial skill in you’ he said, and compared the brand new husband to himself (Femi Otedola) when he was his age.

“We used to think we used to hustle, but you guys do it better. You are real hustlers. And it has always paid off,” he said.

The business mogul told Tosin to continue to love Temi, advising them to resolve their issues within themselves without involving anyone.

The billionaire also disclosed how he bought a property in Dubai because his daughter, Temi, loved it. Shortly afterwards, Temi visited him in the house and saw another property, just concluded across the street.

Otedola said his daughter remarked that the new property would be good for her wedding’s after party.

He said he told her she was not serious, but after she had left, he called up the agent and bought the property as well.

Otedola thanked the guests and singled out the chairman of the occasion, Aliko Dangote.

He joked that when he was giving his chairman’s speech, he was expecting him to declare a gift of $10 milion for everyone in the hall.

Otedola said that would have cost the richest man in Africa only a billion dollars, and he would still have 79 billion left.

Concluding, the billionaire thanked everyone present and wished them a safe trip back to their respective locations.
