A lady who claimed to be a former worker in the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival church in Lagos, Ada Adiiche, has accused the founder of the church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, of wrecking her marriage.
Ada said Pastor Mouka’s teaching on marriage led her to pack her things out of her matrimonial home.
According to her, she was in the church when Pastor Mouka said anyone who was a second or third wife should leave their marriage and wait for their own husband.
Adiiche said the cleric said anyone in a polygamous marriage would not make heaven.
She played a clip of the video where the cleric can be heard asking those who joined a polygamous marriage to leave. He said God would provide their own husbands.
Mouka told men who married two or three wives to release their second and third wives, or they would not make it to heaven.
Adiiche said she got home and told her husband what she was told in church. Her husband reportedly scoffed at the idea, but she insisted on acting on it.
She claimed she discussed the matter with her branch pastor, who encouraged her to carry it out.
Adiiche said her husband did not wrong her and was good to her. She regretted that since she left her marriage, she had not found a husband.
After some time, Ada Adiiche said she left the church, and she has continued to wait for a partner to this day.
The aggrieved ex-Chosen member said she had more details to reveal about the church and would do so in good time.
