Man who had elaborate wedding in June calls out wife for cheating with married man

A Nigerian man, Osayande Raphael Osaretin, who had an elaborate wedding in June of this year, has taken to social media to call out his wife for cheating with a married man just two months into their marriage.

Osaretin took to his Facebook wall to make the damning allegations, posting his own wedding pictures and the wedding pictures of the alleged side dude.

He claimed to have come to his wits’ end and is confused about how to proceed with his life after the devastating discovery.

The distraught husband admitted the side dude had known his wife, Naomi Osuji, longer than him.

He wondered why they did not marry each other if they loved each other so much before he came on the scene.

The embittered husband said that after he started dating his wife, she still secretly continued with the side dude.

Osaretin claimed that the side dude bought his wife a car before they married, and he was not comfortable with the idea.

He said he tried to convince his wife to return the gift, but she convinced him that it was just a gift for old time’s sake, and there were no sexual relations between them anymore.

Osaretin said the man continued to lavish his wife with financial gifts, trying to disrupt their relationship.

He said he continued with his relationship with Naomi, and they formally got married in an elaborate ceremony recently.

The wedding hashtag was ‘Nara2025’ and celebratory messages for the couple were posted by many friends on Facebook in June of this year.

However, to his disappointment, two months into their marriage, he realised Naomi and the side dude were still sleeping with each other.

He lamented that since he found out his life had been turned upside down.

Osaretin said that he was doubly disappointed and pained because Naomi was a committed church worker.

He said it was a rude shock to him, and he had no idea how his life would progress from now on, with what is happening in his marriage.

“How do I protect my peace when the marriage I entered with love and hope has already been damaged by infidelity?” he asked.

Osaretin also had harsh words for the man who caused it all. He asked why he was hell bent on ruining his just-started marital home and his own (the side dude’s) home.

According to Osaretin, the side dude had married the love of his life in 2017, wondering what he was still looking for in somebody else’s wife.

The accused wife seemed to have taken down her account on Facebook. Netizens initially could find her account, but complained that she locked it,  making it difficult for newsmen to get her own side of the story.

But now, it appears she has deactivated her Facebook account altogether.
