A fresh graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Prince Momoh has confessed to being the mastermind of an elaborate scheme involving tricking female students of the institution to release their nude photos and have sex with him for free.

Momoh created a fake Snapchat account with a female name, @girly_priscilla and created a WhatsApp group with the name “No Boys Allowed”.

He then chatted with female students of the institution, promoting the group to them. Many of the unsuspecting female students joined the group.

Prince Momoh then convinced them he had guys who were willing to give them between N100,000 and N150,000 for hook-up services. He also told them some of the clients would replace their phones, provided they did well.

He then encouraged them to send their front and back pictures, which he promised to forward to clients.

Momoh, using the account of Priscilla, broke the ice by sending a picture of a naked lady, which the ladies believed was Priscilla, the group coordinator.

They responded in kind by posting their own pictures too. Over 1000 naked pictures were said to have been contributed by the ladies who hoped they would be ‘lucky’ to be picked.

Priscilla told them ‘she’ would contact anyone chosen by ‘her’ clients and link them up.

In reality, Priscilla was Momoh, and the clients were also Momoh. Once he contacted the ladies, he arranged a meeting.

He would sleep with the ladies, and when they asked for payment, he would direct them to Priscilla.

When they reached out to Priscilla, she would tell them they needed to sleep with the man five times to qualify for the money.

Most of the female students lose interest at that point and cut their losses. It is not clear if any of the students ever met the requirement to get paid before the scandal broke out.

Some victims of the scam soon realised it was the same person behind it all and reported to the Students’ Union.

The union officials set up a trap and finally caught Momoh.

The man at the centre of it all has now tendered an open apology to the victims and the entire OAU community.

His confession has been posted online. In it, he identified himself as Momoh and a graduate of OAU.

He also confessed that he was the one behind the scam.
