A lady has taken to social media to narrate how she narrowly escaped being abducted by a one-chance cab operator in Abuja.
The video of the lady’s account was posted on X by a user with the handle Abujaplug.
According to the narration, the lady recalled that it happened when she was still in her second or third year at the university.
She recalled that she enlisted in an Aviation School to train to become a cabin crew member against her parents’ wishes.
The one-chance survivor said she sneaked out of the house one day and was on her way to school when she boarded a cab.
While the cab was waiting for more passengers, someone sighted the driver from afar and shouted, “You, this kidnapper, again?”
The survivor said the accuser was rushing forward to catch up with the driver, who instantly started the car.
As the car zoomed off, the lady said she decided to dive out of the moving vehicle.
She recalled that she landed and rolled on the ground, sustaining bruises all over her body.
The lady recalled that passersby rushed to help her up and tried to take her to the hospital.
She recalled that she declined to be taken to the hospital and opted to go home instead.
