‘I’m even prettier than the girl, ’ Widow of man who died in side chick’s house laments

The widow of the Ghanaian man, Emmanuel Somiah, who was killed in the room of his side chick over the weekend, has openly expressed disappointment in her husband over the indiscretion that cost him his life.
Somiah was allegedly punched to death by another man he met in the room of his side chick in Mpasatia, near the Ashanti Region.
He had been responsible for the upkeep of a young woman with whom he spent his spare time.
Somiah allegedly paid for the room the lady lived in and also paid for other expenses in the apartment.
On Saturday, August 23, 2025, 36-year-old Emmanuel Somiah got a tip-off that his girlfriend was with another man in her room.
He rushed there and found out it was true. The late Somiah confronted the man and tried to assert his authority over the room.
The other man, identified as Jeff, reportedly resisted the angry Somiah. A fight ensued during which the men exchanged blows.
It is suspected that Jeff’s blows landed on a sensitive part of Somiah as he collapsed and gasped for breath.
It was alleged that the girlfriend the two men were fighting over did not pay either of them any attention.
Somiah reportedly died before he could receive any medical attention.
Jeff has since absconded and is currently being sought by the police.
When a Ghanaian TV crew visited the home of the late Somiah, his distraught wife lamented over her husband’s pursuit of a less attractive woman.
“Am I not beautiful enough?” she wailed. “The girl is not even pretty. She is not even near me in anything,” she lamented.
The distraught widow lamented that her late husband had now put her in a very difficult situation.
“How will I send our children to school all alone. Where will I get their school fees?” the woman cried.
Members of the community can be seen consoling her in the footage of the interview circulated online.
