A South African man, Mfana Ngwenya, has brutally murdered his girlfriend, Kgaogelo Nnonu, over infidelity.
The gruesome murder happened early yesterday morning outside a pub in Maubane, Hammanskraal, in Gauteng province.
The specific cause of their altercation is not known, but the suspect claimed the deceased was unfaithful to him.
Ngwenya slashed Nnonu’s throat multiple times with a sharp object suspected to be a knife.
The suspect also posted a video of himself over his late girlfriend, cursing her as she lay dying.
He later deleted the video, but netizens had already downloaded it.
In another video he posted on social media, Ngwenya ranted about how much he loved Nnonu and how he spent money on her.
The suspect lamented that after all he did for her, she still cheated on him.
Ngwenya posted yet another video blaming the action on the girlfriend, but still saying that he would love her forever.
Community residents expressed shock at the turn of events and recalled Kgaogelo as a vibrant young woman who had a brilliant future ahead of her.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is yet to officially respond to the crime at the time of filing this report. It is also not yet known if the police have tracked down Ngweny.
