A family has released the footage of their home surveillance camera capturing their housemaid peeing in their food containers last Sunday and Monday, August 17 and 18, 2025.

The video captured the voices of the maid’s employers, a couple, as they reviewed the CCTV footage in their room.

The video shows the young lady working in the kitchen about 9 pm. After a while, she goes to the switch to turn off the light in the kitchen.

Apparently, she does not know that the camera is equipped with infrared light to capture what happens in darkness.

She then pulls up her skirt and squats to urinate in a plastic container. The madam of the house can be heard saying that the container is what she used for storing soup in the freezer.

The maid stands up and walks over to the switch to turn on the light before disposing of the urine into the sink.

She then simply rinsed the container, smelled it and put it back in the plate rack.

The date stamp on the video reads Sunday, August 17, 2025, 9:31 pm.

The following day, Monday, August 18, 2025, the maid repeated the same thing; this time, she chose one of the plates used for serving the couple’s infant.

As usual, she simply rinsed it, smelled it and returned it to the rack where other washed plates are kept.

The man of the house can be heard exclaiming, “ Chineke meh! I will never hire a nanny again!”

He can also be heard telling his wife, “ Let’s confront her this night”.

No details were provided on where the family resides, or if they reported the matter to the police

In July 2024, Microsecondnews reported a similar incident wherein a househelp was captured by CCTV urinating in her madam’s mug in the kitchen.
