My daughter did not steal. Why would they strip her?” –Comfort Emmanson’s alleged father
Calls for compensation for her

A man who claims to be the biological father of Comfort Emmanson, the lady involved in a recent clash with Ibom Air officials at Lagos Airport, has called for compensation for his daughter.
In an interview he granted to Is Real TV, the man who gave his name as Broderick Emmanson Mbok, claimed he trained Comfort with the money he made from his tailoring business.
He lamented that he had been depressed since the news broke out, and the pictures and videos of his daughter had been flying around.
Mr Emmanson Mbok, who says he hails from Ikoko Abasi in Ikot Epene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, said the entire episode had tarnished his family’s image.
He claimed he was ‘seriously provoked’ the first time he saw the video, and he could not believe how a simple disagreement could degenerate to the point of stripping his daughter naked.
He lamented that the nakedness of his daughter was filmed and circulated on social media for no just cause.
Mr Emmanson asked rhetorically if it was because he was poor and had no connection to press for justice for his daughter.
He said he tried his best to send his daughter to school from his meagre income to give her and ultimately his family a better life.
The man said he did not bargain for what happened to Comfort, which now had a negative effect on the family’s image.
“Right now I’m provoked, I don’t even know what to say.“Even now, I’m so provoked that I don’t even know what to say. I don’t know. I don’t know”
He said the person who filmed his daughter and posted it to the whole world needs to be identified. He also said that more light had to be shed on the issue so that everyone could understand how it happened.
Mr Emmanson said he was not happy about the issue and would want compensation to be paid to his daughter.
He said he was only scraping by after some hoodlums destroyed or hijacked his former shop. The aggrieved man claimed that someone gave him the place he was now using for his tailoring business.
It would be recalled that Comfort Emmanson became a social media sensation after a video of her struggling with Ibom Air and Airport officials on Sunday, August 10, surfaced online.
One of the videos from the incident showed Comfort hitting one of the air hostesses, later identified as Juliana Edwards.
Some airport officials later bundled her off the plane, but in the process, her boobs popped out after one of the air hostesses appeared to drag out a flap holding her top in place.
Unfortunately, she was not wearing a bra at the time of the incident.
Angry Comfort was filmed attacking other airport officials on the ground before she was ferried off into custody.
A court later remanded her in Kirikiri Correctional Centre before the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, waded in and facilitated her release.
