A 55-year-old American woman has taken to social media to call out her 26-year-old Nigerian man and his family, accusing them of duping her out of $80,000 (N122m) under the pretext of marriage.

The American woman, who has not provided her name, said she would explore the necessary legal avenue to recover her money from her fake, legally married husband and his family.

The woman, who is back in America after coming to Nigeria to legally marry her husband, did not disclose how she discovered that he lied to her. However, she disclosed that their relationship is three years old. It is not clear when exactly they got married, or when she was last in Nigeria.

She simply said that the younger man, Kindness Ifidon, lied to her about being in love with her throughout their courtship and marriage.

The American lady expressed her suspicion that the lady introduced to her as his sister is more than a sister because she had seen her in the same bed with Kindness.

Bringing out a picture, she pointed out her husband and said, “This is my legally married husband. His name is Kindness. This is his sister, her name is Goodness. She will do anything for Goodness. There is something between these two.”

The aggrieved lady recalled that Goodness once came out of the bathroom barely clothed to collect something from her husband, while she (the American lady) was in the room.

“Who does that? I don’t even do that with my siblings”, she said.

She accused the man’s family of playing along to enable their son to defraud her.

The aggrieved woman claimed that the young man’s father is a deacon in their church, which she called “Dunamis”.

She wondered how he could be going to church to pray to God with sincerity when they were all duping her of her hard-earned money.

She vowed that she would use everything within her powers to make sure that the man and his ‘sister’, and family face the law for what they did to her.

The angry lady said she is diabetic and has a heart condition, noting that it was callous of a young man to think of duping someone like her to live well.

She placed a curse on him, his ‘sister’ and their unborn children.

The American lady claimed that she treated them all very well and spent lavishly on them, but they then went ahead to squander her money dressing up to go to clubs with her money.

She showed the picture of the car her ‘fake’ husband cruises around in. She also showed the picture of the man and his family, warning others to beware of them because they are looking for other victims.

The youngman and his family are yet to respond.
