Famous television personality, Toke Makinwa, has revealed that she is expecting her first child.
She released a video this morning showing her baby bump. The video has generated intense interest, with Toke Makinwa trending as the Number Two topic on Nigerian X.
Makinwa, 40, has previously spoken about her desire to have a baby. She has also talked about possibilities to achieve this, including surrogacy.
She took to her Instagram page this morning to write that the biggest project of her life has just landed. She also called the pregnancy her highest calling ever!.
The famous on-air personality expressed her profound appreciation to God for making the pregnancy happen, changing her life.
She said she had thought that God had forgotten her in all those years of waiting for a child, but that she now realised why it took so long.
Makinwa said God was working on her heart posture to get her ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling.
She further wrote that she had worn so many hats, but the one God has just given her now is the greatest.
Makinwa expressed intense delight that people would now get to see her as a mother
“I get to raise my own. Na me be this????? Hallelujah!” she wrote.
She also addresses herself to her unborn baby, saying she cannot wait to meet him or her. The media personality expressed appreciation to the baby for making her the happiest person on earth.
The celebrity had recently joked that she would probably go for surrogacy because she did not want to ruin her shape.
She was engaging in banter with rapper Falz when she made the remark. But now it is clear she was just catching a cruise (joking).
