Don’t compare ValueJet and Ibom Air incidents, Channels TV presenter
X user tackles her

United Kingdom-based Channels TV presenter, Juliana Olayinka, has cautioned against comparing singer Wasiu Ayinde (KWAM 1)’s airport incident to that of Ibom Air’s unruly female passenger.
Juliana took to her X handle to sound the note of caution. According to her, KWAM 1 exhibited defiance when he refused to hand over his water flask.
However, in the Ibom Air incident, involving Comfort Emmanson, there was an act of violence.
She said any attempt to compare the two incidents was absolutely laughable. Olayinka said Emmanson physically and verbally assaulted multiple officers.
She called on commentators to stop muddying the waters, expressing appreciation for the availability of video evidence.
One of her followers, named Chidi Omeje, asked her if she watched the entire video of KWAM 1’s altercation, or if she stopped where they asked for his flask.
Omeje drew Olayinka’s attention to the part where KWAM 1 was standing in front of the plane to prevent it from taxiing.
He counselled her that if she wanted to understand the gravity of KWAM 1’s offence, she should try it in the UK, where she resides.
Other followers have taken sides with her while others opposed her views.
