Female cop faces probe after threatening to give tickets because she did not get sex previous night

An American female police officer, Jennifer Escalera, has courted trouble by posting that she would be handing out tickets to everyone because she did not get sex the previous night.
Escalera of Harris County Constable Precinct 5 posted a video showing herself in her squad car.
She is in her full uniform and is holding a pen and notepad. She put an onscreen caption saying, “Didn’t get cracked last night, so everyone is getting a ticket”.
It appears it was an attempt at a joke for the benefit of her followers on TikTok. However, many took offence at it and attacked her for trivialising her position.
Some called her unprofessional and childish, while calling for her sanction.
Others saw the joke and put laughing emojis in the comment section, with some men jocularly asking her to come and arrest them.
Escalera has since removed the video from her account following the backlash she received.
However, her precinct’s Public Information Officer, Jeff McShan, told TMZ that the police officer was being probed for the content.
However, the probe would entail a review of her latest bookings to establish if there is any arbitrariness in them.
She will, however, remain on active duty during the process.
Escalera has a fairly large following on TikTok where she regularly posts content about her work.
Her most consistent content is tagged “Get Ready With Me”, which documents her preparation for work, including making up her face, wearing her uniform, utility belt and clipping on her service pistol.
