Lady drags her mother online for instigating arrest of her brother

A TikTok user has dragged her mother on social media, labelling her wicked and vindictive for instigating the arrest of her junior brother.

According to the TikToker, who runs a restaurant in Port Harcourt, she has four siblings living in their family house.

One of the siblings, a girl, has married, but came back to the family house so that her mother can help her with childcare duties.

Trouble started when the sibling who had just given birth had an altercation with her brother.

The new mother was said to be carrying a kettle of hot water and asked her brother to leave the way, but the brother asked her to pass another way.

An argument ensued during which the new mother slapped her brother, who retaliated by punching her in the belly.

When the mother heard, she was livid with anger and reportedly called in the police to arrest the boy.

The restaurateur then posted a video of the moment police men arrived to whisk her brother away.

She can be seen in the video shouting at her mother, calling her names for arresting her own son.

“You are a very wicked mother. You should be ashamed of yourself”, she shouted repeatedly at her mother, who ignored her in the video

She posted the video online, hoping to get the support of the public, but she got the reverse.

Many people thought she was rude to her mother, no matter what wrong she felt her mother had done.

In the comment section, many lauded the action of the mother and called on her to even arrest the restaurateur as well for mannerlessness.

In a follow-up video, the restaurateur has shed more light on what transpired.

She explained that she did not side with her brother, who beat a new mother, but that she believed the matter could be settled in-house without involving the police.

The lady claimed her father called a meeting, involving her uncles on paternal and maternal sides and also their in-laws.

However, she claimed that her mother did not attend the meeting despite being in the house.

According to her, instead of attending the meeting to resolve the crisis, her mother dressed up and drove out of the compound.

The in-laws also did not show up.

Instead, what they saw were policemen who arrived to arrest her brother.

The restaurateur alleged that her mother is very antagonistic towards her and accused her of fomenting the whole trouble.

She claimed that people were bashing her because they did not know the kind of abuse she had suffered at the hands of her mother.

The restaurateur, who is the oldest of the siblings, claimed she worked tirelessly to make her family comfortable, but her mother continued to maltreat her.

She claimed that when she mooted the idea of renting an apartment, her mother accused her of financial recklessness.
