Why wrestling legend Hulk Hogan’s daughter won’t get a penny from his will

Brooke Ellen Bollea, the estranged daughter of the late wrestling legend, Terry Gene Bollea, better known as Hulk Hogan, will not inherit anything from her father’s $25 million estate.

Brooke fell out with her famous father in the last two years of his life.

It would be recalled that Hogan died of cardiac arrest last week at the age of 71.

Brooke, who enjoyed a very good relationship with her father all his life, had a major disagreement with him towards the end of his life.

She strongly believed the people the famous wrestler surrounded himself with did not have his interests at heart.

Unfortunately, she was not able to convince her father, and the issue festered, finally causing a rift between them.

On Tuesday, in a statement on her Instagram, she explained that she had stepped away from her father to protect “ my heart”, and not because she was fighting him.

Apart from stepping away, she instructed her financial manager to commence the move to remove herself from her father’s will.

Brooke, 37, who is married to former NHL player Steven Oleksy, with whom she shared a pair of twins, reportedly took the decision to avoid getting caught up in a bitter financial battle in the wake of her father’s death.

It is speculated that the move might also be a way of letting her father know that her actions were not motivated by his fortunes but rather by a desire to protect him from those who did not have his interests at heart.

The process of removing her from the will was completed in 2023, according to TMZ.

Brooke has a younger brother named Nick, but it is not clear who the wrestler left his $25 million estate, trademarks, intellectual property and other assets to.

It is believed that Brooke will still get some money from a small life insurance trust Hogan took out.

Sources said Brooke is grateful for the money and will be devoting it to seeing her children through college.

Brooke gave birth to a pair of twins – a boy and a girl – in January.

Unfortunately, due to the rift between her and her father, the late wrestler never got to meet his grandchildren before his death.

Efforts made by Brooke’s husband, Oleksy, to settle the differences between father and daughter did not materialise.

It did not help that Hulk was divorced from his wife, Linda, who gave him Brooke and Nick, 35.

The legend married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 and divorced her in 2021.

In 2012, he married Sky Daily with whom he remained till his death on Thursday,24 July, 2025.

Hulk last spoke with his daughter in September 2023. A few weeks later,  he married his third wife, Sky.

The daughter told his father she was not happy that he was still working so hard despite his failing health.

She expressed her desire for him to slow down and enjoy the fruit of his labour over the years. Predictably, her father did not agree, yet again.

They never spoke again till he died.

When Brooke experienced complications during her childbirth, her husband reportedly reached out to Hulk, but he responded coldly, according to TMZ.

Brooke has also cut her mother out of her life.
