An Abuja-based single mother of three kids has narrated how her husband secretly married another girl, and she only found out on Facebook.

The lady, who identified herself as Ngozi, in a viral video, recounted in tears the horrible experience she had at the hands of her ex-husband.

According to her, she and her estranged husband worshipped at Living Faith Church in Abuja and got talking. From there, they became fond of each other and started talking about marriage.

She recalled that she faced difficulties from Day One in the relationship, as her mother-in-law was against her because she is from Anambra while he is from Enugu.

Ngozi said her mother-in-law went to the extent of sending her a text message, cursing that she would die if she went ahead to marry her son.

Ngozi said she went ahead to marry the man in spite of the red flags because he appeared to genuinely want her to be his wife.

She said that after about three kids, the dynamics of their relationship changed, with the man becoming more hostile to her by the day.

Ngozi said they could stay in the same house for one year without her husband speaking to her.

“When we are going out, I will be gisting happily with him, but he will keep a straight face. When I asked if he was listening to what I was saying, he would shout, “Talk! I’m listening”. He was already tired of me, but I thought there was still hope,” she lamented in tears.

The abandoned lady said the mother once called her to the village with a promise to settle the matter between her and her husband.

She lamented that when she arrived, she met the girl her husband was dating in the parlour with her children (Ngozi’s) plaiting her mother-in-law’s hair.

She did not know at the time that it was her rival there in the house.

Ngozi said she was sitting down during the mediation when a call came on her husband’s phone, and she clearly saw Ngozi Abuja.

“I was confused, my name is Ngozi, but I was not the one calling him. I later realised the girl also bears Ngozi” she said.

The embattled single mum said she returned to her base in Abuja and carried on life, with nothing changing in her husband’s attitude to her.

She said the man even stopped coming home after some time.

She said her husband travelled home again and returned, only for people to call me to give me information.

“I opened Facebook and saw the wedding of my husband. That was how I became a single mother of three.”
