The victorious Super Falcons of Nigeria have landed safely in Abuja, federal capital of Nigeria.

Recall that the team did excellently at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, concluded over the weekend.

The Falcons clashed with the host nation Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses in the finals and came out tops.

They consequently clinched their 10th continental title in the women tournament.

The team and their officials touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja about noon on Monday.

They were preparing to hold a trophy parade along major roads in the Federal Capital Territory at the time of filing this report.

The delineated route include Airport Road all the way to Berger Junction, Maitama and Wuse Market.

The Super Falcons will be hosted by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa later in the day.

The team is set to visit President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The president already has a grand reception planned out for them.

Four Super Falcons team members Esther Okoronkwo, Rasheedat Ajibade, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Michelle Alozie were named in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Best XI, to clinch their 10th continental title.
