A 60-year-old man, whose name has been withheld, has been sexually assaulted outside of a church in London, United Kingdom.
Eye-witnesses said the incident happened on Station Road in Harrow, in the early hours of Wednesday, July 23, 2025.
A homeless man identified as Bruke Desalagne, 32, was found in the vicinity of the crime and arrested by the police.
He is being probed for crimes of sexual assault and rape.
A local who wishes to remain anonymous described the incident as dreadful, hinting that it was a pointer for him to fast-track his plan to relocate out of the area.
He claimed to have lived all his life in Harrow and could not believe such a thing could ever happen.
“That poor, poor man”, he lamented, hinting that the victim would never be the same again.
The police said Desalagne will appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.
They also said the victim was being supported by specialists.
