An InDrive driver, identified as Adekunle in Ibadan, Oyo State, has been blocked on the app by the company after a passenger complained that he sent a lewd message to her.

The passenger, Morenikeji, with the X handle, @lawlay-rae, took to the microblogging site to raise alarm about the driver.

According to her tweet, the man begged her to allow him to put his p*nis in her mouth.

Lawlah said she booked a ride for ₦2,000 at Onireke Road, Agbarigo Junction, Ibadan, but the driver tried to inflate it to ₦3,000. She protested the inflation and ultimately cancelled the trip.

Morenikeji said that this was not the end of the matter, as the man later reached out to her on WhatsApp to initiate conversations.

She claimed he also sent some inappropriate messages to her. Morenikeji said she was left with no other choice than to block him on WhatsApp.

This, however, failed to stop the man, as he started calling her with other numbers.

Morenikeji said she picked up his call at a point to insult him, but he allegedly told her he loved her and would love to put his p*nis in her mouth.

InDrive team saw Lawlah’s tweets and asked for more information.

The company later reported on the same X that the man had been blocked from the In-Drive app.

The company said further actions would be considered, as the company has zero tolerance for such behaviour.

Microsecondnews on June 8, 2025, reported that a female passenger complained about another InDrive driver assaulting her.

She said she corrected the driver politely when he was taking the wrong route, but this did not go down well with the man.

A little further in their journey, an altercation ensued during which the driver allegedly assaulted her.
