NNPCL slashes fuel price twice in one week

Fuel {petrol)Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has adjusted the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), better known as petrol, downwards again.

This is happening a second time in about seven days.

The company cut off N5 from the price of the essential commodity, placing the cost now at N890 per litre.

NNPCL had, a few days ago, reduced the pump price of PMS to N895 per litre.

Motorists who drove to NNPCL retail outlets along Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, on Wednesday were pleasantly surprised to find out that the cost had been slashed further.

It is gathered that other filling stations of the national company have reflected the new price.

The latest development still makes fuel at NNPCL retail outlets costlier by N5 per litre than the fuel sold at the filling stations supplied by Dangote Refinery.

Dangote Refinery supplied filling stations, such as Optima, AP Ardova, MRS, and Bovas filling stations, currently sell PMS at N885 per litre.

The price of PMS has fluctuated consistently in the last few months due to the instability in the global oil market following the deregulation of the sector.
